The Pirates are coming!

Today our students have prevented a terrible attack from British Pirates, whose captain, the frightening Francis Drake, attempted to conquer our islands. To achieve such a brave, students had to face six different challenges related to their CLIL subjects and Canarian content in English. Thanks a lot to students for their motivation and bravery!!   

Hoy nuestro alumnado ha evitado que los temibles piratas británicos, capitaneados por el temible Francis Drake, conquistaran nuestras islas. Para ello, el alumnado se ha enfrentado a seis desafíos relacionados con sus asignaturas AICLE y ha trabajado contenidos canarios en inglés. ¡Muchas gracias al alumnado por su motivación y valentía! 

 

Cellular pizzas, yummy!

Students in 1ºC are working the Biosphere in Biology classes. They have become chefs for a day and have prepared delicious "cellular pizzas" to review the organelles and the structure of eukaryotic plant and animal cells. 

Students have prepared their pizzas at home and by using different ingredients they have designed the different structures in a cell. 

Before or after baking the pizzas, they've taken pictures and labelled the different organelles and structures studied in the class. Enjoy your cellular pizzas!

 

Mientras estudiamos la unidad 5  The Biosphere de Biología con 1ºC, los estudiantes y pequeños chefs han elaborado unas "pizzas celulares" para repasar los orgánulos y la estructura de las células eucariotas animales y vegetales. 

Los estudiantes han elaborado sus pizzas en casa y  con diferentes ingredientes han recreado las diferentes estructuras que caracterizan a las células. 

Antes o después de cocinarlas han tomado fotos de las mismas y han etiquetado los orgánulos y estructuras estudiadas en clase.
